Got the kit deal with the extra bettery grip. And I bought the wife a HG20 last year.


A bit pissed off at Canon as I have bought all this stuff, plus printers, and some point and shoots for work and I ahve been hosed on both.


But the good news is they both work great. Just that 400 worth of price reductions on both within a week later, and the $200, and 500 MIR for a good 13X19 true photo printer that makes my ass hurt. So I sent them a e-mail about me not buying another piece of Canon equipment again.

Agreed. You really have to kick some ass with these reductions.
Just a thought.. Return the kit to the store with a lame ass excuse and then re-purchase at the new price.
